Manage Your Mechanics Bank Mortgage Account

This is your online resource to all things mortgage - how to login, how to make a mortgage payment, information about your escrow account, and more! We've recently updated our mortgage servicing system for legacy Mechanics Bank mortgage customers. To login for the first time, select the gold "Log in here" button and follow the sign-up prompts. Once you've registered, you'll have access to all these online services at your fingertips:

  • Loan: Review current loan balance, loan account information, and escrow information, if applicable.
  • Payments: Make a payment online, sign up for automatic payments, view payment history, and generate a pay-off quote.
  • Education: Learn about your home's equity, various options available to you, and find contact information. There are also answers to frequently asked questions, such as if you are having difficulty making your payments.
  • Messages: Send and receive information knowing that your account information is treated confidentially and securely.
  • Documents: Access monthly billing statements, escrow analysis, and year-end tax information. You may also update your preferences to enroll in eStatements

Mortgage System Transition & HELOC Security Enhancement FAQs

General System Transition

Mechanics Bank upgraded its mortgage servicing platform to improve efficiency, account access, and available features. As part of this upgrade:

  • Statements and online access will look different, but your loan terms will not change
  • Some customers received new loan numbers effective June 1, 2026. Impacted customers have been notified via U.S. Mail.

No. This system transition did not change the interest rate, payment amount, maturity date, or any other terms of your existing mortgage or HELOC.

Loan Number Changes

Some mortgage customers may have received a new mortgage and/or HELOC loan number. Please reference the letter dated May 4th, 2026 that was mailed to your address on file. If this impacts you, please begin using your new loan number for all payments, correspondence, and bill pay setups after June 1, 2026.

After June 1, 2026, please update:

  • Online bill pay systems
  • Third-party payment services
  • Any records where your old loan number is stored
  • You will also need to use the new mailing address for payments:

Payments During the System Outage between May 29 - June 4

If your loan is set up for automatic payments or transfers from a Mechanics Bank checking or savings account, no action was required.

  • Payments scheduled between May 29 and June 4 were held and processed on June 5, however, your payment history reflects the original scheduled payment date

If you needed to make a payment between May 29 - June 4 and did not do so, please call us at 800.237.3194, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (PT).

Please register for the new Mechanics Bank Check My Loan website by clicking on the gold "Log in here" button above and following the sign-up prompts.

Once registered, you can:

  • View loan balances and escrow details
  • Make payments and enroll in auto-pay
  • Review payment history and request payoff quotes
  • Access statements, tax documents, and escrow analysis
  • Enroll in eStatements and send secure messages

Beginning June 5, 2026, use the following:

  • Customer Service (Live Agents): 800.237.3194, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (PT)
  • 24/7 Automated IVR: 800.237.3194 (payments, loan information, payoff quotes)

HELOC-Specific Questions

Yes. As a HELOC customer:

  • If you received a new loan number, new courtesy checks were issued to you automatically
  • If you did not receive a new loan number, please continue to use your existing Mechanics Bank courtesy checks
  • We've implemented a required code word for advance requests as a new security enhancement
  • We've discontinued online banking transfers from your HELOC to your checking and/or savings account

New Mechanics Bank-issued courtesy checks were mailed free of charge on June 5, 2026.

  • If you do not receive them by June 15, 2026, contact Loan Servicing at 800.237.3194
  • Old HELOC checks will no longer work as of June 1, 2026

Starting June 5, 2026, a code word is required when requesting a HELOC advance:

  • This applies to phone and written advance requests
  • Advances will only be approved after the code word is authenticated

Please complete the code word form that was mailed to you on May 4, 2026, and return it using the enclosed envelope by July 1, 2026. If you did not receive the code word form, please call us at 800.237.3194.

Available options include:

  • Courtesy Checks: Use your existing Mechanics Bank checks OR, if your loan account number has changed, please use your newly issued checks only
  • In-Person: Visit a Mechanics Bank branch
  • Wires: Request a wire by contacting our Loan Servicing Customer Care team at 800.237.3194, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (PT)
  • Online Transfers: Discontinued after 5:00pm (PT) on May 29, 2026
