Courtney Williams to lead community development, reinvestment programs at Mechanics Bank

Community development and reinvestment professional Courtney Williams has joined Mechanics Bank as executive vice president and director of CRA Strategy & Administration. She is responsible for advancing the strategic direction and performance goals for the Bank’s Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) programs involving lending, investments, volunteerism and charitable grants.

With more than 25 years of accomplishments in the banking industry, Williams brings substantial expertise to Mechanics Bank. Previously, she served as CRA Officer at Pacific Premier Bank, which received two Outstanding CRA exam ratings during her tenure. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles in retail banking operations and compliance management.

Active in her community, Williams serves on the board of directors for Human Options, an Orange County-based nonprofit organization that provides programs and services to individuals and families affected by relationship violence. She is also a board member of EpiCenter Foundation, a local nonprofit dedicated to helping low-income families build generational wealth through financial literacy and homeownership.
