Community Partner Checking

Designed for Non-Profit Organizations. In keeping with our commitment to community service, we are pleased to introduce Community Partner Checking for local non-profit organizations. Community Partner Checking is free of monthly service charge when the organization has proven non-profit status and has at least one other qualifying Mechanics Bank deposit account. Qualifying accounts may include those of the non-profit organization or principals of the non-profit organization.

We will deposit a contribution equal to 1% of the average annual deposit balance (up to $250) to every qualifying* Community Partner Checking Account at the end of each calendar year.

Free of Monthly Service Charge With:

Proof of non-profit status and at least one other qualifying Mechanics Bank deposit account. Qualifying deposit accounts may include those of the non-profit organization or the principals of the non-profit organization. Otherwise, $10 per month.

Monthly Activity Allowance:

Monthly Coin & Currency Allowance:
(Includes coin or currency deposited and/or furnished)
$1,000 per month ($1 per thousand thereafter)

Overdraft Protection is available with a Mechanics Bank Business SavingsLink or Business Money Market Plus Account. Some restrictions apply. $100 minimum opening deposit for any checking account.
* Community Partner Checking Program Rules: The minimum qualifying average annual deposit balance is $1,000. The annual contribution will be credited to the account on December 31 of the Program year. To receive the annual contribution, the account must be open on December 31. The Bank observes the right to amend or terminate the Program at any time.
