The Mechanics Bank Supports Local Public Education
The Mechanics Bank has been headquartered in the West Contra Costa County for nearly 100 years now.
In fact, we celebrate our Centennial next year. Throughout our long history here we have recognized and supported the importance of the education of the children of this community. They are simply our future.
In continuing our commitment to the community, we were pleased to present a check in the amount of $25,000 on behalf of the Bank's owners, directors, and over 600 employees to help fund both the athletics and the literacy accounts the School District has established at The Mechanics Bank here in Richmond. Those businesses and residents in our community wishing to join us in making a contribution may do so at any of the Bank's 26 offices.
We will continue to look for ways to partner with others in the community to address this challenge to the youth of the community.
